Description

The black Staub pancake frying pan makes it easy to prepare delightful pancakes and crêpes. It is very flat in shape so that you can easily flip thin pancakes or crêpes. Another advantage of this pan is the fact that it is made of cast iron, which ideally conducts heat and distributes it over the entire surface of the pan to the outer edges. As a result, all food is cooked evenly no matter where it is on the pan.

The round pancake pan from Staub has a diameter of 28 cm. Thanks to its weight, it sits completely flat, making good contact with the heat source. Thanks to its handle, the Staub pancake pan is easy to use and can be used on any type of cooker, including induction hobs. Even extremely thin crêpes turn out perfectly in this pan.

Both children and adults alike are sure to be thrilled by pancakes and crêpes made in this Staub frying pan. Serve them with apple sauce, jam or fruit or sprinkled with a mix of cinnamon and sugar. Use this frying pan to prepare different types of pancakes, that are sure to be easy to flip and cook, thanks to the pan’s cast iron body and shallow design.

*This pan includes a Staub wooden spatula (40509-700-0) and a Staub wooden spreader (40509-699-0)*

HOME IS WHERE STAUB IS

The home of the STAUB brand is France, a country famous worldwide for its culinary tradition and really good food. Merville, in the north of France, is the place where STAUB creates high-quality cast iron by combining traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology.

PARDON OUR FRENCH

We’re just really passionate about cooking. With STAUB products, you’ll soon share our sentiments. You just might experience love at first sight as soon as you lay your eyes on their vibrant colours and design. But no worries, you are not alone. Professional chefs and cooking enthusiasts all over the world share your passion.

TRÈS UNIQUE

Each cast iron piece is truly unique & the result of a manufacturing process mixing the best of tradition & modern techniques. With its innovative inventions, STAUB clearly optimizes the benefits of the cocotte, creating outstanding cookware that is treasured by professional & home chefs around the world & probably by you – as soon as you start cooking with STAUB.

THE SECRET OF OUR LID

Luckily this secret actually isn’t that secret, so we are happy to share it. Let’s start with the specially-contoured lid and its excellent moisture-retention properties. Its self-basting system ensures a continuous rainfall effect evenly over the cocotte’s contents. This guarantees that each ingredient retains its full flavor. Meat does not dry out and vegetables remain tender.

THE SECRET OF OUR FINISH

The interior of all STAUB pots is enameled with a high-quality black matte finish with ideal properties for searing, roasting and caramelizing food. And here’s some more delicious news: enameled cast iron preserves the nutritional values and full aromas for every ingredient. Whatever dishes you prepare in the STAUB cocotte, you can count on a tasty and nutritional result for mouthwatering meals.

“BRAVO!”

STAUB: perfect, innovative, unique & traditional. But what really means the world to us is Bravo. That’s because it is a quote from Paul Bocuse himself, the chef, the legend & the holder of three Michelin Stars for more than 50 years. "A good knuckle of veal or osso bucco cooked in a cocotte is really something else. And that is precisely what differentiates French cuisine! Bravo to the STAUB cocotte."
