Description
For amateur cooks and professional chefs alike, the Grand Maître collection is all about balance. Each piece in this widely-sought range is of a full-tang construction, uniformly hardened and forged from a single piece. Because of this, the transition from blade to handle is sleekly seamless, with the latter ergonomically shaped for comfort even over sustained periods.
This 3" shaping knife with its curved blade is great for small precision cuts where control is essential, such as peeling, trimming, or garnishing. The high-carbon stainless steel provides maximum sharpness and edge retention and the blade is ice-tempered to sustain sharpness longer and give the desired effect when re-sharpened. The triple-rivet handle is ergonomically designed to provide optimum weight, balance, and comfort while the plastic over molded (POM) handle will hold its shape and not crack or separate from the blade.
