    Produces delicious, fresh, hot, coffee

I have the model that precedes this new one. I bought it 6 years ago in 2016. Coffee quantity is adjustable in increments of 2, there are 3 levels of strength, you fill it with water at the top back, it has a grind off function to allow the use of pre-ground coffee and it has a burr grinder......all attributes found on the newer model sold here. What this newer model has that mine doesn't is a cleaner electronic interface and a seemingly improved fold out in which the coffee basket sits. I suspect that the newer version is an improved version of my machine. I once checked the temperature of the water that the coffee was being brewed at,,,,,,,it was within the optimum range required to brew the ground coffee correctly. I personally love the coffee that my machine produces with minimal effort over-all. Its a pleasure to not have to deal with a separate grinder. It's simply a great machine that does what its suppose to do, extremely well. When one day it finally dies, I'll be buying whatever version of this machine is available from Cuisinart at that time. Grinding the beans just prior to making the coffee is the secret to a superior cup of coffee.

I bought this coffee maker 2 years ago and it is simply the worst product I have ever bought. First the water lid is hard to open , second the coffee craft is the worst design ever unless you like wiping your coffee off the counter when pouring it into a cup. Third After spending 300.00 dollars I really thought it would last more than 2 years before breaking down. Every time I go to make a pot of coffee the water dispensor cuts out after brewing one cup of coffee and I have to keep opening the grind holder and flick the switch located just above the grind holder so it will continue to keep brewing coffe. Whoever design this should be shot.

    Lid for water reservoir hard

Lid for water reservoir hard to get a hold of and located at the back of the machine makes this even more awkward to do.
