Description
The selector switch on the KBGV Select allows you to choose between brewing a half or full carafe. The brewing speed and hotplate temperature adjust according to your choice, brewing either amount to the golden cup standard. The brew basket automatically stops the flow of coffee when removing the carafe. All glass carafe brewers feature a hotplate with an independent heating element that holds your coffee at the perfect temperature. We build our coffee brewers to work hard day after day, maintaining their quality for years and even decades. Every brewer we manufacture has a 5-year warranty, and we will repair any brewer for life.

I’ve had one for 10 years and have used it almost daily. It’s absolutely the coffee machine that I’ve ever owned. The coffee tastes far superior to any other coffee appliance that I’ve used. And it still functions as when I purchased it new. Just purchased a second one for our cottage. Highly recommended!! You only have to pay for it once.

After a tremendous amount of online research into coffee makers, reading many reviews, I decided on the Technivorm Moccamaster, feeling the glass carafe coffee might taste better than the thermos. I’m not one for small appliances on the counter, but the rose gold is a beauty! It works quickly, quietly, and makes good coffee (I’m not a coffee snob) but know a bad cup! The only 2 things to be aware of, not complaints, are the carafe glass is quite thin (compared to my expensive cuisinart coffee maker) so I’m afraid that inevitable bump against the stone counter will break it, and the carafe volume is really 3 good mugs of coffee so if there’s 2 of you wanting 2 morning mugs, you’ll have to make a second small pot.
Overall, looks great/intriguing, works really well, great coffee, made in the Netherlands, not in China. Supporting a business where employee wages were liveable was important, and you pay for that.
