The Swiss Diamond XD series features a reinforced nonstick surface (real diamonds in a high quality composite) which provides years of trouble-free cooking and easy clean-up. Its extra thick, cast aluminum body with a perfectly-flat base will not tip/spin or warp as it provides uniform heat distribution. The rivet-free cooking surface provides maximum protection against bacteria while the comfortable, ergonomic handles are designed to stay cool on the stovetop. Oven safe to 500°F (260°C).
The Swiss Diamond induction nonstick stock pot has a large capacity for family meals. The pot is only 28 cm (11”) in diameter, making it easy to fit next to other pots and pans on the stovetop, but its 24 cm (10”) cooking depth gives it a healthy 8 liter (8.5 qt) capacity. The sturdy tempered-glass lid has an adjustable steam vent. The included tempered glass lid allows you to monitor food without lifting the cover, maintaining flavor and keeping food from drying out. The rotating lid knob opens or closes a steam vent to release or contain moisture as needed.
