More than 25 years ago, Sam Farber noticed his wife was having trouble holding a peeler due to arthritis. He saw an opportunity & promised her he'd create a better peeler.... and OXO was born! These gloves are prominently displayed in our office as a reminder that we are not all created with a cookie-cutter mold.
Baking A Difference
Through the years, OXOnians have devoted their personal time, energy & money to support the Cookie For Kids' Cancer cause, but the company wanted to play even a larger role in the movement to find a cure for pediatric cancer. In 2011, OXO formalized its partnership with Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, pledging to donate up to $100,000 per year to this very worthy cause.
